FÊTE DES BANNIERES

Yes! like i've promised you guys on my last post , now i'm about to share my last fete des banniers experience . I'm so happy to coming back to the city and it was a blast yet full of excitement to shows the locals how rich my country is in terms of its traditional costume .

Wearing the traditional costume from Bangka Belitung while my friend got Papua's . Yep , we were on fire with these head-toe-red-outfit . FYI , red means brave for Indonesian . 

Thank's god , I've discovered numerous countries this year . The one with its famous modern skyscraper , historical monument combine with its magnificent scenery . But , it only makes me love my country even more! Yes! Personally,  being New yorker , Chicagoan or Parisian is far less exciting than being a Jakartan and being Indonesian in general . 

Ready for Summer ?

The best thing about May is the fact that facing the cold is about to over . I'm more than ready to put the shades on , short pants combined with a bright coloured shirt! . However , sun was smiling in Paris yesterday ,  so fun to see peoples just start wearing their summer look and celebrated the pre-summer weather .

Wearing the hat from Indonesian brand Berak along with its military pattern tote bag is rad yet a dope accessories to complete my look today.

Everybody out! Because it such a waste to staying at home while the day over the heat to enjoy . Today , means my friends spending the day around the centre georges pompidou and silly walking at the riverside of La Seine.

Jingle bells

Actually this is my very first christmas abroad. Yep , it also means that this is a new experience to having the christmas eve in winter. Well , Paris is not cold enough to be a white christmas but me , in order to make it real , i change my hair colour to white ! Super like it! 

Who said that we need a real snow to make it white christmas? I had mine in a way . I have my white christmas look! :p

Salon du Cheval ( Gucci Paris Master )

Escaping from a painting and another fine art exhibition , Salon du Cheval appears as a good idea. This exhibition is a new experience for me , It is all the thing about Horse and also horsing stuff. Not only house made company , a big brand such as Gucci and Hermes are also involved at this occasion. However , it was a little out from what i expected before but still, it amazes me in a way .

 Never get enough with this lovely animal . The exposition also consists plenty attractions , of course with the horse indeed!

Gucci Paris Master , The world class show jumping which held by Gucci . The participants are the top 25 riders and also French and International celebrities and other personal figures. So, this is an unforgettable meeting of elegant and athleticism. 

 As a zero-knowing person , I deserve just this adorable baby horse . Seems like i got only a kid to join on my team . hahaha

As i don't know about horsing before , it was satisfying enough to killing my urge to learning something new and for me horsing is so exciting! It combines sport , social and the fashion as well . Tempted??

The Comfort of Chez Yi

Before its undertakes renovation in spring 2014 , Lutetia Hotel Paris has inviting Chinese young artist , Yi Zhou to make their magnificent collaboration titled "Paradise Suite" . Not just an exaggerate name , the suite is all about warmth and comfortness that everyone would ever imagine for their private room. 

Yi definitely brings oriental atmosphere through the interior items . Especially, her magical hand painting on the curtains and pillows which has been a strong statement for the suite . 

Put your doubt elsewhere for this lovely couture lamps , Lutetia (with Gripoix)  and Yi have their list of success these later years for making couture jewellery lines.

This curtain is the celebrity of the night , presented with a manga figure and bamboo tree which reminiscent Yi's childhood in Hangzhou along with her grandparents. 

  

Even me and Sebastian ( Mrhedoniste.com ) can't resist to take a photo with this magnifique curtain. 

                                     

A photograph represents a 15 pictures of different Chinese man co-signed with photographer Li Qi is also exist to decorates the suite.

The Electro-Cardio Vase , existence of a modern touch to equalise the harmony . 

Food and drinks served are also in Yi's favour , our dessert named "Paradise" (collaborated with Tsing Hua University, Beijing) is succeed to impress me and other fellow invited guests 

Asian design is well-known by its eccentricity of colour and pattern , when it comes together with French classic design? there is nothing could describe but "Perfection!".
